We have just had our kitchen/hall extension finished by Simon and his team. The service was first class. Dave the foreman was fantastic he kept us informed at every stage of the work and was very friendly and easy to get on with. The standard of work is excellent and nothing was too much trouble, all the team wanted was for us to be satisfied with their work. The full team including Josh and Sam, the electricians and plasterers all did a fantastic job.We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an extension.
We’re over the moon with the work that SM Construction did for us - completing a ground floor extension to create an open plan kitchen/dining room. We would certainly recommend their services to others. Simon and his team were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end - from the early planning stages right through to the job itself. Punctual, tidy, professional, honest, trustworthy, friendly and knowledgeable - I could go on! Communication was also excellent - keeping us up to date on key stages and planned work so that we were always informed on what would be happening next. Aftercare has also been great as we’ve completed other related work. Simon has gone above and beyond what we would have expected from him in order to help us out - we can’t thank you enough!
We first used SM Construction in 2006 when we had a two storey extension built. The work was excellent and we were so happy that, when we decided to remove the wall between our dining room and kitchen, SM Construction were our first and only choice to do the work. Nothing is too much trouble for Simon and his team. They are always on time, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Simon always communicates well and kept us up to date on progress. As other reviewers have said, Simon makes sure you are totally happy with all aspects of the work, from beginning to completion. We cannot recommend Simon and SM Construction too highly.
Just a quick thank you to Simon, Michael and the others. We found Sheffield Garage Conversions on the internet and booked a quote (along with a couple of other companies). Simon came round to measure up and discuss possibilities and we found him to be by far the most solid, friendly and knowledgeable of the people who came round. The quote was fair too and more reasonable than the others. Simon was very clear throughout about how things would progress, sent us a schedule and was reassuring too about the workmanship of everyone who works for him, and the lack of disruption and noise that we’d encounter. All of this was proved true. The work was all completed on schedule (the whole thing was done and dusted within 3 weeks) and the budget was stuck to perfectly. Michael project managed and was with us throughout. He was incredibly helpful and attentive, very careful not to make any mess and was polite, friendly and punctual. The same could be said of everyone else who worked on the job too. We’re absolutely delighted. We’ve a beautiful new room, better than we could’ve hoped for (a couple of the neighbours have already asked for the details of who did it); and the whole experience was much easier than we’d have imagined. Very little mess or noise, no problems. Everyone on the job, starting from Simon, have a real pride in their work and it shows- no corners cut, nothing too much trouble. Simon and his team did a dormer window and split an existing attic space into 3 bedrooms for us. We are beyond pleased with the finished result it is done to a very high standard and it has made our home complete and our children now have their own space. They were very punctual and nothing was too much trouble even though i changed the plans slightly at the beginning Simon was happy to go through what i wanted. The guys were friendly, polite and respectful and they kept the work space very clean and tidy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thanks again
