Helen is a wonderful host. We booked last minute and she was very accommodating off our needs. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Breakfast was delicious. A true dog friendly accommodation. Great value for money.
Had a really fabulous, relaxing weekend here with our dogs thanks to the lovely lady Helen who owns Ravencar. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, breakfast amazing, lovely spacious rooms with everything you need . Nothing is too much trouble and you feel so welcome . Our dogs had a sausage on a morning and it was so nice to know they were made to feel so welcome too. This B&B definitely needs visiting and we shall definitely be returning.
Absolutely love this place. Booked just looking for a standard budget place for 2 nights, did not expect the service I got here. Helen and all other staff are lovely, tea and cake on arrival was a welcome surprise. Room is huge with private access into shared courtyard. Breakfast is fantastic with great views over the horse stables. Would absolutely stay here again, just need the excuse to come back. :) Only minor gripe is as a tall person, the shower was barely up to my shoulders. I managed though, and doubt much can be done about the sloping roof in bathroom anyway. :)
Outstanding Helen could not do enough for her visitors including the dog, she welcomes everyone and you can see how much she enjoys pleasuring people the breakfast sets you up for the day she even includes the dog for breakfast nothing is to much trouble for Helen thankyou Helen for such a delightful stay and welcome we will be back to see you again
I booked quite last minute for a far more reasonable price than I was quoted elsewhere. I checked in late (about 8:45pm) and Helen could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. Even with little notice amidst a weekend of storms my dietary needs were well catered for at breakfast. The room was cosy and pristine, the setting is beautiful and I look forward to returning.
