Just had Craig Callum and sparky Mick round to do our bathroom. Pure professionals all of them. Work diligently and clean up after themselves. It's been a pleasure having them around the place. The bathroom looks amazing so pleased with the final results. They will be my first place to go too for any jobs doing around my home.
We had Nubuild in to do our bathroom, after they have done previously our kitchen and dining room. As expected and always they do a top job and are so clean you barely know that you have builders in your house. We had Craig and Callum carry out the work and it's been done perfect. Top notch job and service and no job is too big or small and they always make sure your happy before they leave. Can't recommend them enough. 10/10
Nu Build have just completed some ‘fairly’ major building work to our house. A couple of months ago we had new doors and windows fitted, the windows had been in for over twenty years and the lintels were original from the date of the house build, circa 1962. The window company had some problems as some of the lintels were crumbling, they had to be patched up as best as they could and that left us with potential structural problems. We contacted Nu build for a quote, Ray and Andy came to our house to look at the job. In all we had the lintels changed in the three largest rooms and the small bedroom. The project manager was Lee, who worked with two other guys to complete the work, they were professional, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and have done a fantastic job. There was a lot of mess and debris every day in the house and outside, the team made sure that everything was cleared so you could still live in the house while the work was going on. They had the correct equipment and expertise to complete the seven day project to the highest standard, if you have lintels that need removing you need to make sure you that the job is done correctly otherwise you run the risk of structural damage to your home. Ray was in touch with us throughout the job, the guys doing the work are a real asset and had years of experience in the building trade. We will certainly recommend Nu Build to family, friends and work colleagues. If we ever need any other work doing we will not hesitate to contact Nu Build.
Nu Build did some work for me in Doncaster in spring 2018, the job was to rebuild the gable end on a stone built barn. I had them recommended by a family member who was really pleased with some work they had done. As well as the recommendation, the quote I got from Nu Build was also competitive. The job involved supporting the roof and side walls, taking down the unsafe wall, digging and laying new foundations and then rebuilding the stone wall with a block-work inner skin.They also dug a soak-away for rain water drainage. I am really happy with all the work that they did and all work was done to the time scale that they gave. They took the original wall down carefully and safely, which involved moving some huge pieces of stone by hand. They then proceeded to dig the foundations. The concrete for the foundations was poured on the exact morning they said it would be. The rebuild of the stone wall was quite technical as it was done with stone of varying shapes and sizes, but their workmanship was still excellent. The Nu Build team on site were always very friendly and pleasant and were more than happy to explain things or answer any questions that we had. They also did a few extra bits of work patching up parts of other walls in the barn.The site was left clean and tidy at the end of the job. The finished work looks fantastic and I have had several comments from people saying the same. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again myself.
I have just had my parents bathroom converted into a wet room. Both my parents suffer from dementia and we chose Nu build as my mum felt comfortable with Andy when he came out to give us the quote. He explained the products and the process patiently and carefully which was very much appreciated. Mark did the bulk of the work which was carried out professionally and efficiently always leaving the property clean and tidy. Again my mum felt comfortable having Mark working in her house which was a huge comfort to us and by the time the job was finished it felt like he was part of the fixtures and fittings.
