I love this place! The hot chocolate is so good, it has an amazing atmosphere and friendly staff. Been here quite a few times and never had a bad experience. You Can’t go wrong with the pasta???? Nice little place to go on a date or just for a simple coffee with a friend. 5star cafe
I'm not sure about the previous reviews because it didn't echo my experience. I asked for a strong black coffee and a cookie. This totalled £4.90. The coffee was weak and tasteless and the cookie dry. It was served on a platter with 2 splodges of fake cream and swirls...... its a biscuit for goodness sake and does not require such accompaniment or a knife and fork!! I had to leave both items as it wasn't great at all. Would not recommend. It does seem to have a loyal local community maybe that explains the 5 star ratings. Welcome not warm at all.
So how does a coffee shop create a five-star impression in two minutes? Location, warmth, ambience, a great proprietor and polite and cheerful staff... Then the food and drink ensures a five-star review and a return visit on another day. Thank you MJ and Team Boo
