Nice friendly couple good hosts, very clean, good breakfast selection. Room lovely and spacious and comfy bed. Everything you needed nothing too much trouble. Will go back and stay again. Will recommend to family and friends.
Clean , quiet and homely. Excellent breakfast (which you can also have in your room if you wish.) Very welcoming hosts, and right by a great cafe and pub serving good quality food.
I have just completed a tour of the UK and this place was, without a doubt the best B&B I have ever stayed in. A comfortable room, a wonderful breakfast and lovely people. The only problem is that it’s too far to commute to from some of the places I visited. For me, it was very special having somewhere that I felt really at home.
Had a wonderful stay here just 2 days ago. Tony was really helpful and the room was outstanding. Ideally located with a sumptuous breakfast cooked to perfection. Thank you very much indeed. Rick Fish
I called earlier in the day to say I would arrive around 11pm and if that was too late. The lady said no, it would be fine as I’ve given notice. I called again around 10 to say I could arrive at 11pm, but I’d get some food first, and I’d arrive 11-11.30pm. The guy said ok, and also gave me advice on location and where to park. I arrived just before 11.30pm, and they didn’t answer the doorbell 3 times, and ignored the phone (I could hear it ringing inside). It seemed to go to voicemail almost immediately last time, so they did this deliberately? Now I have to find another hotel, or sleep in my car. I would give 0 stars if it was possible.
